Physicians in Amsterdam to Speak at EUSEM Conference

The Chief and Vice-Chair of Emergency Medicine at BIDMC, Dr. Richard Wolfe and Dr. Jonathan Edlow, traveled to Amsterdam in late September to speak at the European Society of Emergency Medicine's annual conference. Dr. Edlow's lectured on a new evidence-based approach to the dizzy patient and acute ischemic stroke (do current “contraindications” for tPA make sense?). He also discussed the topic of patient complaint management with European colleagues. Dr. Wolfe lectured on trauma in the older patient: epidemiology and management, and discussed the topic of elderly in the ED, with European colleagues.Read more about the EuSEM conference here.
