[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Two of our nurse educators traveled to Region Sjaelland, Denmark, this month to facilitate a 1-week "train the trainers" workshop, collaborating with 30 emergency nurse educator colleagues from the hospitals of Koge, Slagelse, Nykobing Falster, and Holbaek. In January, 2016, the four hospitals of Region Sjaelland will launch a standardized emergency nurse skills education program. This program, grounded in AACN’s Synergy Model, uses skills stations, taught during “nurse competency days,” to review and validate emergency nurse skills. In the first year, 34 competencies and assessments will be validated through 5 themed skills stations, taught during competency days scheduled at each hospital.Picture1[/vc_column_text][ultimate_spacer height="10"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
