Division of Disaster Medicine conducts first training course in the Chinese Center for Disaster Medicine, Tianjin, China

In September, the BIDMC Division of Disaster Medicine (BDDM) held its first training course in Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management in the Chinese Center for Disaster Medicine, which opened in 2018 as a collaboration between BDDM and Tianjin University. Dr. Greg Ciottone and Amalia Voskanyan, RN led an instructor team of 5 Disaster Medicine experts from BDDM to conduct a course for 50 students, including senior emergency managers and healthcare personnel from every province of China. The Chinese Center for Disaster Medicine was established in May 2019 between the BIDMC Division of Disaster Medicine and Tianjin University, the oldest university in China.
