Department Nurse Leaders Welcome Capital Region (Denmark) Nurse Educators

BIDMC Department of Emergency Medicine nurse leaders welcomed representative nurse educators and nurse leaders from Denmark's Capital Region (Hovedstadsregionen) this week. The visitors spent time learning about our department and our hospital's nurse clinical education program, specifically our multi-disciplinary competency days, where several departments collaborate on providing interactive skills stations on a variety of high risk, essential nurse skills. ED nurse education consultant, Shelley Calder, RN, MSC, CEN, hosted the group along with our international collaborations division.
