60 ED leaders meet to discuss optimizing ED operations

On May 29, 60 ED leaders from the New England area and beyond met for the Harvard CME symposium entitled "Optimizing ED Operations and Patient Care through Multidisciplinary Teamwork at the Leadership Level" at the Waltham Woods Conference Center. This course was designed to provide current or aspiring emergency department (ED) leaders with the skills they need to run successful departments. The course highlighted the advantages of having mirrored and collaborating physician and nurse leadership teams within the ED management structure. http://www.hms-cme.net/3524685/
