Director of Operations, International Projects

Meaghan Cussen, MA, PMP, EdD has worked for the International Projects Division of BIDMC’s Department of Emergency Medicine for 10 years, managing projects and educational initiatives in Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Morocco, and the USA. Previous managerial experience in the field of education includes positions at the International Emergency Department Leadership Institute, Forrester Research, and Study Abroad Italy. Meaghan holds an M.A. in adult education and a doctorate (EdD) in education and organizational leadership from Northeastern University, where she focused on education design that promotes sustainable and transformative change in healthcare systems. She is a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
