Joshua Ellis, MD is currently the medical education fellow within the Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School, while simultaneously working toward a Master’s in public health from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.  He graduated from Howard University College of Medicine and then went on to complete his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he was the recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Resident/Fellow Educator of the Year and also the Gold Humanism Award. He also serves as a proud member of the LGBT advisory committee for Harvard Medical School and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  He has taught didactics in Racial Disparities within the Emergency Department, as well as health equity.
