Emergency Nurse Curriculum Building in Denmark

This October, our nurse education team traveled to Region Sjaelland, Denmark to work with our colleagues to develop the second year of content for a region-wide, standardized emergency nurse curriculum. The US-Danish nurse team participated in a 5-day curriculum development workshop to produce content for all 2017 skills stations (learning material, teaching scenarios, scientific rationale, etc.) The five skills stations had the themes of: cardiac emergencies, DKA, acute abdomen, pediatric orthopedic emergencies, assessment, & neurological emergencies.
